Hands down one of the best books on Chinese amber carving available. The book is very small at only 72 pages and 9″ by 6″ inches, but it is practically all images of very rare Chinese amber carvings. Pages 21-32 are color images, but the rest is black and white. Of great interest is page 32 where there is an image of an early amber carving under a black light, great image for reference and rarely seen. Also a great 14 page intro to the book which is one of the best discussions of Chinese I have seen to date. Those with an interest in Chinese amber carving should buy this book.
