This book is an excellent addition to the library any collector, dealer or scholar. To date, it is hands down the best reference available on this type of Chinese enamel. The books starts with a well written introduction and discussion of the mechanics of making cloisonne, followed by a very good study of dating and the value of various marked pieces in establishing some criteria. The second half of the book is an extensive and well photographed collection of Chinese cloisonne, many pieces have multiple pictures of the bottom, inside, and marks.
