From seventeenth century enamel to master silver work of the early twentieth century, my inventory spans the golden age of Chinese and Japanese craftsmanship. My first forays into the antiques world were as a young teenager, hunting for painted blanket chests in the Appalachian mountains of Pennsylvania. I received my B.A. in Art and Marketing from American University in Washington, DC, and have since received extensive training in Fine Art and antiques throughout New England and the Midwest. In New England, I was fortunate to handle some of best Chinese Export art in the world at Polly Latham Asian Art and gain valuable experience at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA and Northeast Auctions in Portsmouth, NH. I have also had the great privilege to be invited to assess, sell, and handle some of America’s great private collections.

Currently, I live in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with my wife and daughter, where I am the founder and owner of Blanchet Asian Art. I deal primarily in Chinese and Japanese art, as well as fine jewelry. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
